The Blue Blazer
Welcome to my page on RYE - Rotary Youth Exchange. I was on exchange to Germany my junior year in high school: 1991-92. I stayed in a small town in Niedersachsen called Gifhorn, sort of between Hannover, Wolfsburg, and Braunschweig.
On this page I plan to post "stuff" from my year abroad: photos, songs, etc. If you have been part of RYE, please e-mail me; I would love to hear from you. If you have anything you would like to have posted here, or if you have a link to other exchangee sites/info, let me know.
In addition, as the name of this pages suggests, I will also tackle the topic of the Blue Blazer, a sign of Rotary exchangees (unless you have a green or red blazer, depending on your country of origin) everywhere.
Also, if you are a former Rotary Exchangee, and you haven't yet done so, please register at David Haworth's site - he is collecting the names, etc., of as many ex-exchangees as he can in his directory. You may also wish to check out the Exchange Student Picture Gallery
But let's not forget:
Don't tell Rotary, and...
Don't get caught
