Often translated by Peggy Kamuf, he is best-known for such works as L'Orgine de la Geometrie de Husserl (1962) [published in English as "Origin of Geometry", 1978], L'Ecriture et la Difference / Writing and Difference (1967/1978), De la Grammatologie / Of Grammatology (1967/1976), Le Verite en Peinture / The Truth in Painting (1979/1987), and Spectres de Marx / Specters of Marx (1993/1994) among many others.
